Paws for Stories April 14
Dansville Public Library is celebrating National Library Week April 8-14 with Paws for Stories — with a Therapy Dog on Saturday April 14 at 10 a.m. The program is open to all children, but if your child is reluctant to read due to difficulty or shyness, this book program is a good opportunity to encourage reading aloud. Children can read to a calm, supportive, and attentive dog brought to the Library by “Tail Waggin’ Tutors.” The fun of reading to a friendly, and trained, therapy dog takes the pressure off the child to perform and helps makes reading fun! For children ages 3-12. Space is limited so please call or stop in the library to register. Therapy Dogs International supports “Tail Waggin’ Tutors” to encourage reading and improve literacy for children. For more information call 585-335-6720.
