Book Sale thru May18

The Library appreciates support of this year’s Dogwood Festival Used Book Sale.  There are many excellent bargains still available Thursday – Saturday.  Thursday is half-price day.  On Friday any item is 15¢.  On Saturday shoppers can fill a bag provided by the Library for only $2.00.   Marcia Miller and Director Terry Dearing also expressed deep thanks to everyone for volunteering during this busy week as well as those who sort and box throughout the year.   The Library resumes accepting donations on June 1.  Please allow staff to view your donations first before dropping them off; the “condition” is very important as textbooks, magazines, yellowed and damaged items do not sell.  The Library needs “like new” and/or gently used materials.  Call for more information at 585-335-6720.
