Summer Reading Kick-Off!

The Library will kick-off the 2018 Summer Reading Program: “Libraries Rock!”, with registration and a performance by storyteller Cris Riedel on Tuesday, June 26th at 1 p.m. Through books, games, musical experiences, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) activities, participants will interact with music and sound in a wide variety of ways.  Kids will create their own instrument, find out about the science behind the music they love, think about the music that nature is making every day, and rock their way around the world with hands-on activities. This year’s program will include performers, storytelling, crafts and an end of summer reading party! Children will receive a goodie bag for signing up.
