Metal Casting with Jeff Swift, Aug 12-16, 2019 @ 10 a. m.- Noon

Don’t miss this week-long ‘Discovery Workshop’ with Jeff Swift from Swift Custom Metal. For children ages 8-12. This workshop will teach children a unique method of creating a mold and casting of bismuth, a metallic element  In addition, children will learn about the history of making metal, metallurgy, and examples of art casting. They will assist with the “pour” of the metal into their very own mold, right here on the library’s lawn!  This program is sponsored by the Dansville Lions Club. Space is limited!
