Dansville Public Library has a box just inside our main entrance for used/empty and new/unused printer cartridges, cell phones/smartphones, old laptop computers and tablets. Please remove user and password information on all phones and tablets. Hard drives will be removed from all laptops. Please include AC adapters and cords when possible. Dansville Public Library makes a profit on the sale of these items!

On Tuesday, May 10, 2022 Dansville Public Library’s budget for the 2022-2023 fiscal year was approved by voters. The proposed tax levy of $578,739 received 66 YES votes and 10 NO votes. The new budget will take effect July 1, 2022.
Incumbent trustee Sherrie Reilly received 54 votes and was reelected to a five-year term, with trustee candidate Emily Wolf receiving 24 votes.

The Dansville Public Library has an open Library Page position.
The Part-time Page is a 12-15 hour-per-week position. Applicants should be personable, enjoy working with people of all ages, have an interest in books and reading, and have excellent written, verbal, & computer skills. Needs to be able to stand for long periods, and to reach and bend. Must have flexible schedule, with readiness to work evenings and weekends.
