On Thursday July 20 at 2 p.m., children ages 5-12 can learn about the power of earthquakes! This STEM program, presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension, is all about Earthquakes (Quake) and Constructing Buildings (Make). Children will craft their own building and then test it against homemade “earthquakes”! Space is limited, so please contact the library to register at 585-335-6720.

Summer Reading Club kicks off with marvelous Moreland the Magician on Tuesday, June 27 at 2 p.m. This is the Library’s kickoff event to “Build a Better World”, the Library’s annual 8 week reading club. The event is open to the public, even if children are not participating in Summer Reading Club. Funding for Moreland is provided by a donation from Library Friend and Supporter, Kathy Rose.
