It’s summer time! The Dansville Public Library will have the annual state summer reading program. This year’s theme: "Dig Into Reading!", is open to children in grades K-6. The club will run every Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. beginning June 25 and ending August 13, 2013. Please call (585)335-6720 or stop in the library to register!

In celebration of Children’s Book Week musician Nan Hoffman will sing songs that have been made into books (books that sing), songs made from books, songs based on folk tales and stories, and songs that celebrate reading. Using folk and acoustic music and a variety of songs and instruments, Nan offers presentations that are fun and informative, and encourages audience participation. Don’t miss this special event!
Books ‘n’ Kids ‘n’ Crafts for children ages 3 to 5 starts on Wednesday, April 17 at 10:00 a.m. The lapsit program, Baby’s First Storytime, also returns on Thursday, April 18 at 10:00 a.m. Please call ahead to register your children so Ms. Brandy will be expecting you!
