Join us for a special Family Storytime celebrating your favorite Sesame Street® characters on January 11, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. This is a 50th Anniversary Celebration of an educational program that has delighted more than two generations of youngsters. Come for a storytime with Santa! During his visits, Santa will pose for pictures, listen to children’s Christmas wishes, and spread holiday cheer. Come and enjoy listening to Santa read “The Night Before Christmas.” And enjoy festive holiday fun that included cookies, and crafts!
Families are invited to the Dansville Public Library’s Winter in the Village event on Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Ms Mary Ellen will provide unique crafts, hot cocoa, and cookies when families are taking a break from Main Street shopping. Sit and enjoy a variety of craft-making tables, listen to music of the season, and take time to visit with friends. Come and enjoy making a Gingerbread House Creations with us! Build and decorate your own ‘gingerbread’ house with graham crackers, frosting, and candy. The library will provide supplies, you supply the creativity!

Dance to, sing along with, and experience traditional & folk music from cultures across the world! International performer Sagit Zilberman performs and facilitates an interactive global music program which introduces children to instruments such as the didgeridoo, space-drum, recorder and saxophone in a new and exciting way, and empowers them to use their voices and body to dance and sing in harmony with her and others in the group.
