DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss this special “Libraries Rock!” summer reading program! Children will learn all about hula hooping with performer Benjamin Berry.  Mr. Berry will explain the secret to finding the perfect size for a beginner hoop. He will also demonstrate how to build and connect hoops\, followed by the audience choosing their colors\, tapes\, and materials to decorate the hoop. Children will learn the fundamentals of waist hooping and then leave with all of the tools they need to enjoy their new hoop for fitness\, expression\, and play! DESCRIPTION:Join us every Tuesday at 1 p.m. for the library’s summer reading club for children grades K-6. Through books\, games\, musical experiences\, and STEAM (science\, technology\, engineering\, art\, and math) activities\, participants will interact with music and sound in a wide variety of ways. This year’s program will include performers\, storytelling\, crafts and an end of summer reading party!
