DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss this special week-long ‘Discovery Workshop’ with Joe DeBell! For children ages 8-12. Children will be learning techniques for observing things that would be otherwise difficult to see.  They will explore the techniques of rubbings\, carbon printing\, chromatography\, and mirror imagery.  They will also experiment with texture and pattern in a variety of materials. After learning each technique\, the children will be challenged to use insight and creativity to come up with an invention of their own.  They will also be learning about great inventors throughout history and learn about “kid inventors” who have made valuable contributions to society.  This program is sponsored by the Dansville Lions Club.
