SUMMARY:17th Annual Child Health and Safety Fair
DESCRIPTION:Livingston County Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Traffic Safety Education Program invites you to join us at Dansville Elementary School on Saturday\, April 13\, 2019 from 11AM-2PM for our 17th Annual Child Health and Safety Fair. This fun\, family event will feature demonstrations from community health and safety organizations\, a scavenger hunt with prizes\, an exciting door prize give-away and interactive activities for all ages. \nCome experience the NYS Police Department’s Rollover Simulator and DWI Simulation Goggles\, and explore an Emergency Rescue Fire Truck\, ambulance and Utility Rescue Vehicle. Meet a K-9 officer and his human partner and interact with the Livingston County Mounted Patrol. Families can also assemble personalized child safety ID kits with officers from the sheriff’s department at the Operation Safe Child ID kit creation station. \nThe award ceremony for the 2019 Safety on Wheels Contest will kick-off at 12PM.
