Wednesday May 19, Governor Cuomo announced New York State has adopted the CDC’s new mask and social distancing guidance for vaccinated people.
Dansville Public Library will continue to require mask wearing and social distancing until the Board of Trustees can meet in June to evaluate the wisdom in changing current protocols.
At the Dansville Public Library we are sensitive to the needs of our staff members and visitors of all ages. We are aware a number of visitors still do not visit due to health concerns or particular health risks. We also are concerned for children who visit and who may not be vaccinated soon, if at all.
During the next few weeks, we will ask for feedback from our users. You are welcome to send your written comments to the Library via regular postal service (200 Main St) or through the Book Drop. Or please feel free to call and leave a message on the answering machine. In addition, Director Terry Dearing would welcome discussing this issue with you at 585-335-6720.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate the changing “landscape.”
