Small Steps to Re-Opening

Dansville Public Library is now taking appointments for access to the building.  The main doors remain locked, and occupancy is being controlled at a 33% capacity.   Face masks are required and visits are limited to under one hour.

Visitors can browse the collections, and they will be required to use hand sanitizer frequently as they make selections for borrowing.  Time on public access computers can be scheduled, but only two computers are available at this time.  Computers are sanitized after each user leaves the building.

Drive up pick up service will continue for those requiring or choosing to maintain stricter distancing rules.

Services now available are computer access, FAXing and photocopy services, small meeting rooms or one person “at-table” reading is allowed.  Visitors can browse all collections to choose their own materials for check out.  The Children’s collection is also available, but occupancy in that area will be carefully monitored as the space is limited.

Borrowers are asked to place all returns in the Book Drop as quarantining of materials for 72 hours will continue.  Due dates are modified to extend the borrowing period so as to take quarantining into account.  Interlibrary loan throughout the Pioneer Library System is NOT available at this time.  Please, NO DONATIONS at this time.
